Functional Fitness Classes
Get straight and strong!
Functional fitness uses the body as a unit and builds strength, flexibility and endurance - together. Functional strength is a result of correct joint position. By improving the location of joints, the length and tension of the muscles, and gaining greater movement efficiency more power is produced and endurance is enhanced.

Sports Ready Body
Description - Develop a sports ready body for any activity! It is the body that you bring into your activity that dictates your performance. Regardless of your sport an aligned posture will improve your movement efficiency and reduce your injury risk. This fast paced intermediate/advanced class will challenge your strength, balance and flexibility.
- When: Mondays 6-6:45 pm
- Where: Blue Sky Pilates in Los Alamos, NM at 2101 Trinity drive (map)
- Cost: $10/class if all month paid in advance or $15 drop-in
Posture Fitness
Description - Feel younger and more energetic in your body when you have less pain, more strength and greater range of motion. This all levels class emphasizes joint mobility and stability using Egoscue Method® exercises. Mat class of challenging stretching and strengthening exercises, all abilities welcome.
- When: Wednesdays 11:15 am - noon
